Paintings
My new paintings are mostly LOBSTERS both blue and red. Living here in Cornwall I am surrounded by all things fishy and this is often my subject matter.
The soft pastels I use have a really good pigment level making the colours strong and vibrant, also a lovely surface quality. They are framed with glass to protect the surface. Some are double mounted with a narrow coloured slip. The Lobster with lemons has a very pale grey slip and the Red Lobster a light greeny grey giving a visual lift and definition.
Because of the size of these pictures it is difficult to send them but it would be possible to remove the glass and dispatch with a protective sheet of thick card. Obviously the glass would need to be replaced.
